DNA Pools for Polymorphism Detection have been developed as a resource for fast detection of DNA sequence polymorphisms in Caucasian population. DNAs from 576 unrelated disease-free individuals, which constitute DNA Panel for Polymorphism Analysis in Caucasian Population (Panel A), were split into 12 DNA pools, each containing 48 genomic DNAs from unrelated individuals, 24 women and 24 men. Equal amounts of individual DNAs at a concentration of 100 ng/ml were sampled for pooling. DNA solutions are ready to use for PCR amplification.
